Chen Duming

Chen Duming began learning to play the bamboo flute at the age of ten. At fourteen, he gave a stage performance of *I Am a Soldier*, which was a tremendous success. When he was fifteen, he was exceptionally recruited as a military art performer specializing in the bamboo flute by the Fujian Military Command, and served in the military for more than twenty years. During his service, he took part in numerous military command galas and competitions, earning high praise on every occasion. After moving to New Zealand in 2016, he has dedicated himself to promoting the art of bamboo flute performance and carrying forward fine traditional Chinese culture, making positive and remarkable contributions.
