Echo Zhang

Echo Zhang has received systematic drum training since 2012, delving into performance techniques, music theory and stage performance art. In her early years, she was active in local bands in Jinan and served as the drummer for the Wilderness Band and Huaixi Band successively. Proficient in rock, folk, pop and other music styles, she was in charge of stage performances and percussion arrangement and creation. In 2022, she joined White Dream Band, an original Chinese band based in New Zealand, as the lead vocalist. She took an in-depth part in the band's creation and released original singles such as Elephant Dance and Echoes of Freedom, which are available on major music platforms including NetEase Cloud Music, Spotify and QQ Music. In 2025, she became a percussionist of the New Zealand Chinese Orchestra. She possesses comprehensive capabilities covering musical taste, instrumental performance, vocal singing and live stage performance.
