Zhang Weiyi

Zhang Weiyi is an erhu performer. He majored in erhu at the PLA Art Academy. He has worked successively in the Song and Dance Troupe of the National Defence Art Troupe of the PLA Kunming Military Region, Yunnan Song and Dance Theatre and Yunnan National Orchestra, and once served as the principal of the orchestra. He has toured to Romania, Poland, France, Armenia, the United States, Hong Kong of China and other regions. He also serves as a senior examiner for the social art level examinations of the Shanghai Conservatory of Music in Yunnan Province.
